ArcLight Data Fortress – BDR Appliance (medium)

ArcLight Data Fortress – Backup & Disaster Recovery (BDR) Appliance – local repository for backup management interface, backup storage, and disaster recovery environment host.

The BDR appliance is a leased hardware device located at client offices. The BDR should be sized appropriately to ensure recoverability of your organization. If you are unsure what size BDR you require our team can investigate and help you purchase the appropriate quantity and size/performance to ensure your environment is backed up. A retainer must be on file to cover the labor required to identify your current server infrastructure.

-BDR setup fees are deducted from retainer on file. To determine total retainer perform this calculation. To calculate how much retainer is required we recommend totaling number of servers + number of sites/BDR appliances * $250. All retainers are combined/pooled into a single retainer that all support, engineering and project work is deducted from.

-Must have space to safely store the BDR Appliance. Appliance can only be placed in a climate controlled environment where battery backup/line conditioning is available. If your organization lacks sufficient battery backup to protect the BDR appliance from surges simply add the BDR Battery Backup option best suited for your organization to your order.
